Do you ever wake up with a song on your heart and you just can’t stop singing it over and over and over all…day…long?  This song was singing in my heart throughout our entire adoption process.

I found it so comforting to remind myself that it truly was impossible for Him to fail us.  I knew God gives good gifts. I knew He had the perfect plan for us.  I knew He doesn’t make mistakes.  I knew I could trust my heart in Him but yet, I had fear.  I feared being hurt beyond what I could imagine if I came “to the end” and was left with nothing but a broken heart.  I feared what the future would look like for us when we got “to the end”.  I wondered just how long it would take to actually get to the end and if, by the time we were there, we would remember that it was impossible for Him to fail us.

Yes, we reached “the end” of our adoption but the lesson I learned during the process still applies to my life.  It is STILL impossible for Him to fail me.
